Emily DeJesus

I have been working in moving image production professionally since 2019. I studied photography from age 16 and once I finished college I began working voluntarily at a citizen TV station in Hackney, London, UK. In 2020, after moving back to my hometown during the pandemic, I found myself working in Communications at UHNM NHS Trust, where I broadened my skillset to social media management, PR, and content creation. In September 2021, I decided to pursue my passion once again, I left the NHS and started work as a filmmaker at Lilac Films. My role includes producing, directing, shooting, editing and colour grading films; commercial photography, social media management, location scouting, casting, studio management, networking, and scriptwriting. Outside of Lilac Films, I work with local music artists, filming live performances and producing music videos.
